What does it mean that Kamala Harris is now the presumptive Democratic nominee, and that the dominant wing of the ruling class is now pushing Harris in the headlines? It means that in the next stage of the new cold war, and of the USA’s counterinsurgency against internal dissent, the woke psyop is going to be a major narrative tool for selling repression. The anti-woke psyop is going to be just as important, but the role it serves will be different. They were always part of the same big discourse psyop anyhow, both acting to pit the country’s people against each other so that finance capital’s goals could be advanced. Amid these latest developments, we’ve found out what kind of discourse environment our ruling class intends to cultivate during their next war maneuvers.
It’s apparent that the U.S. empire’s cold war escalations are going to reach a new stage during the next presidential term, and that therefore the big goal of our rulers right now is to weaponize the culture wars against the anti-imperialist cause. Though the hegemon has pivoted towards Russia over these last few years in the hopes of destroying China’s biggest partner, because the Ukraine proxy war has failed the hegemon will soon find itself needing to pivot again. The situation it’s created in Ukraine is one that could turn into a much larger confrontation, unless the anti-imperialist forces sufficiently intervene. The empire is hoping for such a destructive opportunity, but it’s worried that its plans will backfire, like they’ve been doing since the Ukraine proxy war began. And with Washington being so cornered, both on Ukraine and on essentially all other fronts, it’s liable to carry out a false flag against the PRC.
That’s the most likely way it’s going to try to ensure its victory when the New START nuclear treaty expires in 2026, and the U.S. goes forward with its plans that year to add nuclear weapons “without limitation.” Such a project is good to require new distractions, and an investment in an additional theater of war. Scott Ritter has argued that if left to operate unimpeded, within two years the U.S. will bring about a major moment of nuclear conflict risk, and that therefore Americans must urgently reject their government’s pro-war partisan manipulations:
When one examines these factors in their aggregate, the inescapable conclusion is that Europe will be faced with an existential crisis which could come to a head as early as the summer of 2026. The potential for the use of nuclear weapons, either by design or accident, is real, creating a situation that exceeds the Cuban Missile Crisis in terms of the risk of a nuclear war by an order of magnitude or more. While a future nuclear conflict would very likely start in Europe, it will be virtually impossible to contain the use of nuclear weapons on the European continent. Any use of nuclear weapons against Russian soil, or the territory of its ally, Belarus, would trigger a general Russian nuclear response which would lead to a general, global-killing nuclear war. The question Americans confront today is what to do about this existential threat to their very survival. The answer put forward here is to empower your vote in the coming presidential election by tying it not to a person or party, but rather a policy.
Ritter’s proposal is that we vote for whichever candidate may pledge to de-escalate with Russia, regardless of what party. Trump comes the closest to fulfilling this prerequisite, since his campaign has recommended negotiations over Ukraine, but neither candidate can be trusted to go against finance capital’s foreign policy model. Plus, the system is fully in place to rig the election for Harris. Nevertheless, I believe Ritter and his antiwar partners are helping by promoting this idea. Ritter’s “Operation DAWN” antiwar mobilization effort will advance the anti-imperialist struggle, educating more of the people on imperialism and invigorating their fight against it. This brings us closer to our cause’s ultimate victory, which will be the overthrow of the imperial state. Even when you can’t use electoralism to change policy, you can use it to strengthen the revolutionary effort, which is the value we can get out of applying scrutiny towards the candidates on nuclear de-escalation.
We need to carry out maneuvers like this in order to overcome the empire, which can only be defeated through revolution. As long as the imperial state remains in power, it will be able to use elections to advance its goals, because our elections are fake. And the ones who manage our elections have learned from the mistakes they’ve made in recent history, determined not to let their guard down again. The only reason why the ruling class failed to steal the election from Trump in 2016 was because his infamous tape gave his opponents a false sense of security. Unless a wild upset happens, we can expect them to successfully install Harris, and to then use Harris for the goals they want fulfilled.
These goals are to instigate war with China under a president who would be a better puppet than both Biden and Trump; as well as to make the country have a ruling party that’s even more invested in wokeness than it is now. The objective is not necessarily to move away from the anti-woke psyop, but to nurture both sides of the culture war by making Harris into a catalyst for new cultural battles. This is going to involve both a redoubling of MAGA, potentially meaning a new January 6 that the feds allow to happen; as well as intensified aggression from the radical liberal counter-gangs. The Proud Boys and Antifa will get activated with more ferocity than ever, exacerbating our society’s polarization.
These counter-gang operations won’t just be about killing popular solidarity, they’ll be about attacking our revolutionary organizations. Which is where the mutually dependent nature of the woke and anti-woke color revolutions comes in; because for the radical liberal state proxies to be mobilized against the communists, the right-wing militias will need to be mobilized first. The new provocations by FBI-tied “western chauvinist” groups will be used to justify attacks from the radlib counter-gangs, targeting not just the right-wing counter-gangs but also anti-imperialists. The trick will be to portray communists and antiwar activists as being in cahoots with the far right, which is a narrative that liberals and radical-liberals have long been pushing. Though the militant left anti-communists in “Antifa” will claim to be against the Harris government, they’ll act as this government’s vigilante enforcers, going after everyone who seriously poses a threat to the system.
The other goal that will be advanced by the counter-gangs, both left and right, is to create the pretext for expanding state repression. The Proud Boys did this when they stormed the Capitol, with Biden and the tech companies using it as a rationale for increasing “counterterrorism” measures and censoring Palestinians. When the feds engineer the next version of January 6, and then escalate this manufactured conflict by activating the radlib counter-gangs, Harris will do what she does best and weaponize the police state. The ruling class is more ready for this crackdown than ever; it’s been working to establish “Cop City” police training centers in all but three states.
If the Kamala Harris psyop succeeds, the people will be left too confused and divided to stand up to these attacks, or to their government’s project for opening up new fronts in global conflict. We will overcome the manipulations, though, if we keep building connections with the people. Do not give up on the people; the bulk of them have a primary material interest in defeating our social system, and the minority among them who embrace the ruling class psyops are simply the ones being platformed the most. The way to respond to the enemy’s attacks is by educating and organizing the revolution-compatible majority. No maneuvers our rulers pull must deter us from this mission; it’s our great hope in these dark times, our way of bringing the empire’s machinations to an end.
